Just like that...

And just like that, they walk out of your life.  (insert tears here)  The tears actually came and went in the day leading up to today.  Jaxson has been going "school" since he was 8 weeks old.  The last 4 years I have been very blessed to stay home part time which is a perfect happy medium for me.  While I adore my kids, I also like to get away...and the money is nice too.  So "school" is nothing new for this guy.  He is just considered a "schooler" now...and it's free!  Bonus!

At 6am this morning, this shining face was standing by my beside all dressed and ready to tackle his new adventure.  His bus did not come until 8:38am -to be exact.  That made for a loooong couple hours...he paced the house threw the baseball with dad and paced some more.  On 2 occasions he came running to me freaking out that the bus was there...false alarm!  That was the middle school and high schoolers bus...shew!

His face turned a little sad (as you can see below) when he was looking out from the bus.  But he's is going to be awesome!  He is a smart, sensitive, and loving kinda guy.  There are 6 total kindergartners in the neighborhood, two of the neighbors are in his class.  It's going to be a great year!

Happy School Year!

Pin Guy.

My precious, gracious husband who makes all my crafting and Pinterest ideas come true...

Inspiration below and finished product..a pallet turned into a headboard.

Thanks, love boat! Especially thanks for being comfortable with your manhood to admit to neighbors when they passed by as you painted, sawed, hammered and cursed, that you were doing a Pinterest inspired craft for your wife. Your awesome!

Diva!

Annabelle has decided to forgo Shorts and pants... She only will wear dresses and skirts but mostly just tutus and costumes.. My little diva. I guess I brought it on myself since from day one it was a rule that she never left the house without a bow.. Similar rules still stand in her rule book. Today, it was a costume, a tiara (notice how she strategically placed her helmet to keep the tiara on)... Oh dear, I love this child.

Filling buckets...

Traffic, alot of traffic leads me to alot of radio! Yesterday was a good day. The christian radio station (91.9 WGTS) here has something called "the drive thru difference".. When you go through the drive thru you simply just pay for the person behind you. What a cool idea! On Monday, I went to chick fil a .. I was prepared to pay for the car behind me but once I got to the window they were so busy, I was frazzled so I chickened out (no pun intended)...Dang it! So Thursday, when I was at chick fil a (yes, the 2nd time in a week..I may or may not eat there at least that many if not 3-4.. No judging) I was definitely not going to miss it this time. While I was in the line that wrapped around Frederick, I struggled a little because the guy behind me was smoking.. I'm like oh great I'm going to pay for his lunch and he's going to take that extra money and buy more cigarettes... Well you know what? I paid! And that wasn't the point. Hopefully, it made his day! I know it would make mine! Next time your at the drive thru you should do it! It's not that much money and it feels great on the giving and receiving end.
From this same station there is also a certificate that you can print off for you kids teacher. It just simply thanks them for teaching your child and tells them that you will be praying for them this year. Last night Jaxson gave it to his teacher with a little box of goodies. She was delighted!
So I challenge you... Have you filled a bucket lately? If not, whatcha waiting for?

God is great!

Always a treat when kids sing at church, and when it's your kids...it's like I died and went to heaven!

Jaxson was front and center.. Not sure how he worked that out but at the end of their song Pastor Guy put the microphone at Jaxsons mouth.. He just said "hi".. And giggled like it was the coolest thing that happen since Legos. Corey and I laughed later at the thankful thought that he didnt say his usual like "I fart" or "I'm sexy and I know it". Ayi ya ya!

It's Friday, It's Friday, everyone loves Friday!!

What a busy week for me.  I have been swamped, and overbooked and stressed and anxious and ...you get the idea.  Praise God we have had a very sucessful Fun Bus-ing summer but holy cow, I need a break!  Who's idea was this and I thought it was suppose to be part time?!  Yeah, right!  There is NO part time in owning your own business!  As a matter of fact last night my phone actual rang at 11:20PM.  It was a lady wanting to talk about her son's party today.  Geezz lady are you kidding me?!  Of course, I answered and used my perky Fun Bus voice and got the questions answered.  She caught me at a good time because I was up having a grand ol' time reading one of my favorite blogs...you gotta go there!  While Corey peacefully slept and snored the wall to shake I was trying to contain my laughter..This girl is Hilarious!  She tells it like it is ...she has a potty mouth and she's beautiful...like my mom would say "those ugly words coming from that pretty lil mouth?" -prime example.  Go check her out -she'll crack your shit up too...bahaha!  (had to say it)

Happy Friday, y'all!!!

My buddy and me.

Today, I got to have a little unexpected alone time with one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. I had alot on my plate todo today and I was planning on just dragging the kids with me. When I got to the kids school, Annabelle was out like a light... Instead of wake her up I just left her, I grabbed jaxson and we went on our adventure.. I got lost (a common pass time of mine), hunger started to come over me so I pulled over at McD's. Just FYI.. I freakin' hate that place... It's gross.. And I feel disgusting when I leave but it was all that was there-Jax didn't mind. So we got our lunch and Jax asked for a picnic..I said yes. We stopped at a lovely duck pond and ate our lunch in the shade by the water. Very unexpected treat.. It was greatness. Just my buddy and me...
It all came to a screeching hault when he had to poo, a duck literally chased us to the car, Jax was screaming, I stuffed him in the car and drive fiercely to the nearest grocery store so Jax could take care of business. We can't stop laughing about it now... What a happy day.
Just a little reminder no matter how busy you are.. Take a moment and have some fun. Soak it in.
