Mischievous Leprechaun!

Corey and I have WAY too much fun with these imaginary people (i.e. Santa, Elf on the Shelf, Easter Bunny and now the Leprechaun).  It is like a date...I get getty when the kids go to bed and we are up to no good. 

Jaxson said "darn it, we were so close.  Mommy you should have put money in the trap...not chocolate!"  Okay, Buddy...I will try that next year.  :)

Week-O-Fun with Family.

I love living in Maryland!  There is so much to do.  With all this great stuff to do it is very enticing for friends and family to come visit... hint, hint to those of you who have not made it out.  :)  Texas Spring Break was this week so Corey's parents Boo and Pops came for the weekend and Uncle Rick, Aunt Deena and Gracie came for the week.  It was a awesome time...except when half of us got sick mid week and had to sit out.  Dang that Stomach Flu and Cough that keeps hitting our house. 

Here is the week in pictures.

We the Whoon's (Wheat plus Coon= Whoon) did DC.  Lots of fun, lots of history, lots of walking followed by lots of eating...sprinkled with a bit of goofiness. 



We went to the Zoo.  I have to say the Fort Worth Zoo is better.  But we sure were excited to see Panda's.  As you can see the animals had lots to say...good shots Corey!  Aren't Lions the coolest?  They had great hair and use no hair spray or fancy hair products.  Lovely!

Sweet as can be, Annabelle turned 3!

She will tell you she turned 5...and she acts like she is 12...but she's 3.  and truly sweet as can be..with a little sass and glitter on top.  We celebrated with a Cookie and Milk Extravaganza.  It was EPIC!  It was a beautiful day outside and we had lots of friends and family here.  Great Party..if I say so myself.  :)

Do you ever feel TRAPPED?

Many days go by that my house looks like this...

or the yard looks like this- a bunny trap...this particular time I actually fell in the hole.  This could have been tragic...Corey just watched from the window and laughed.  Nice..huh?!

I only thought it would be appropriate to build a Leprechaun Trap with the kids when I saw it.

I can't wait to surprise the kids with St.Patty's Day treats next week that the Leprechaun leaves behind...it is the only time of year I let them eat Lucky Charms...I growl at Red Dye 40!  :)

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Working with daycare I saw a whole lotta Dr. Seuss this week. What a cool guy! The kids had a blast with all the activities at their new school...they made hats, books, ate green eggs, and had a party today. Today was also PJ day...they got a hit out of that.

Saturday morning craft time!

I found a really cool craft to do with the kids.  We made some St. Patty's Day shirts.  Super easy and super fun!  Sand paper, crayons, a t-shirt and an iron...WaLa!
