Does this make me granola?

Decided to try out DIY laundry detergent.. So far so good. Cost me $12 for all the products, including the holder and the letters... It made double this much.. I split it with a friend.

I have to admit I was a little scared..my first load was colors. Halfway through I was like, 'gosh i hope I got all the right ingredient and one was not bleach or something'... All turned out good! Stains gone and with a light clean smell.

**UPDATE!! So this is a no-go for me.  I gave it a few weeks and It doesn't seem to work all that great.  Just does not have that clean smell and it gives white t-shirts a weird yellow color.  You in some you loose some I guess..back to Tide/Gain I go..

Introducing Chance...

After the loss of Tex, Michael and KeeKee precious doggie there was a hole in their hearts.  There are mending slowly...they have a new addition to help them do that...his name is Chance! 
He couldn't not help taking a nibble or two off the girls...guess he fits well in this family...watch out WE BITE ?!

A Perfect Date.

As I mentioned before, the boys went to a baseball game so Annabelly and I had a girls date. Get this, out of all the places to choose she chose Taco Bell for dinner.. She requested we eat inside. Don't worry I found the cleanest one in town and we chowed down. I felt guilty that our date dinner only cost us $7, so we went for ice cream too. We couldn't think of anything else to do so we came home and did a little decorating in her room... More on this to come.
Lastly, at her request we had a PILLOW FIGHT! Man, I love this child!

S***ing Rainbows

I am a happy person, I smile a lot, I am very loving and compassionate. I do everything I can to make everyone feel special. I love life. Someone might say I s*** rainbows...
Just as anyone though I have bad days, or weeks. This week I dealt with someone extremely difficult, rude, "my way or the highway", selfish attitude-it tore me down. All I could think of to was pray...I prayed for myself and this awful person making me miserable. I know everyday is not going to be a box of chocolates but grrrr! I hate the hatred I felt towards me, I hate the hatred I had for this cotton headed ninny muggins...so whats a girl to do?
I saw this picture and immediately thought of this person...just a nice reminder.
