Life is a BEACH!

I friggin' love the beach!  I was completely made for it.  Our besties invited us to tag along on there beach trip. Of course- we obliged!  Even though that meant Jaxson skipping school on the second week- opps! He did not seem to mind one bit.

It's crazy to me how everyone stays so content at the beach...its just so simple.  Water and sand and we are set for hours and hours of fun.  Not every beach trip we have been on have been like that of course...but this this one was great!

On the way home we contemplated and set up a plan to move there...I mean we picked up and moved once...no big deal- right?!  I joke...well kinda...

School Daze are upon us!

Where in the heck did summer go?  It flew the heck by.  Here's to a great school year- first grade and preschool.  I had a few loose tears putting Jaxson on the bus.  I surely miss that lil brat but routine for him is great!  And my feisty lil lady, well she goes to school very part time so I don't have time to miss her but next year at this time...fair warning- don't even look my way.  I am going to be sooo sad to have to two "schoolers".  Let's not talk about that now...

I had to, I just had to.  Almost expired whip cream in the fridge was just too tempting.  Jax was a great sport.  SPLATT!

Carn-y Peeps

It's weird but it's something Maryland people do.  They have these small town carnivals that cost an arm and a leg - you bet we participate!  They had me at Funnel Cake!  It's a beautiful way to spend a Summer night!

Too fun and all we are missing is "sweet baby Hannah she's so cute" as the kids call her.

There was only one time I lost track of a kid.. It was Colt and I quickly found him quietly reading at a table in the library. Shew! 

Hot Date..

Corey and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend. Best date we had in a while and our dates are always awesome. 

We headed to Annapolis, MD. I am constantly in awe of this states beauty! Annapolis is gorgeous!  We just wanted to eat crabs- low key... Cantler's was surely the place. On the water and so delicious! 

Beer and crabs is the life!  I never worked so hard for food and it is so worth it!  I cracked my very own crabs this time...Corey usually cracks them for me...awww so sweet, but thanks I got this.  :)

Afterwards Corey's work friend randomly was having a party close by so we stopped in..upon arrival we walked into everyone a beautiful deck over looking the water where everyone was required to down a Nati Bo ...yes, that did happen on our date...and yes it was that kind of party. We stayed for a short time there and called it a night...in bed at 10:30pm!  

Today we ate at Buddy's where they have Sunday brunch buffet and oh so good but I am still full.. Made to order omelets, seafood, bloody Mary's, sweets, salties... They had it all. Good stuff!

Away from my kids for one night and I missed them like crazy!  Thanks Mimi and Papi for letting them boss you around for the night.  Happy 9 years to the love of my life!  Cheers to at least 60 more.

Time with Hedgies.

Visitors can be fun and most the time are but occasionally things just don't jive...kids don't get along, different likes, different taste, too much time together..you get me.  My sweet friend for Texas asked me a few months back if they could stay with us.  Of course I was elated!  She more than once asked me if I was sure.  Of course I am sure...C'mon!  We have not seen them in a couple years and when we left off our older boys were kinda like say....oil and water?!  That was the only thing that hung in my mind...but they are grown up and everything will be fine.  

So they came and we seriously had the best time.  All the kids got along and so did the adults.  :)  We laughed until we cried.  We reminisced and caught up.  We picked up right where we left off...actually

even closer than we were before...and then they had to go...whomp whomp!

So that being said ...we still love visitors...so keep comin' y'all!  We love to have you.
