Hey Boo, Boo!

For Memorial weekend we went camping at Jellystone Park just a short drive away.  What a fun time we had!  19 people in our party, 11 of those being children -we pulled off a sucessful trip.  Sunday night we had a huge unexpected storm blow threw..flooded tents, a tree falling on one of our cars and 11 terrified and tired children ALL wanting to be held at 9pm needless to say we cut our trip a bit short. 
They were troupers and it made for great memories.

She's ready to POP!

This past weekend I hosted a shower with some lovely ladies for my sweet friend Jeanette.  Jeanette was my very first friend here in Maryland.  We met through MOPS..we hit off right away because her husband Cole is from Texas and she lived there with him while he finished school...so she has a little Texan in her bones...my kinda girl.  She is pregnant with her 3rd baby..she has 2 boys Wesley and Preston and now
IT's A GIRL!
We decided to use the theme running rapid on Pinterest... Ready to POP!  We served Popcorn, poppy seed muffins, Cake Pops, Pop.  We had games of course -Pop Quiz and Naming baby Pop Stars. 
It was good time.  Congrats French Family- I can't wait to get my hands on our Future Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader (wink, wink).

Mission Complete...on to the next.

I am feeling pretty proud today.  I ran..(RAN being key word) a whole 5K.  Only 5 short weeks ago I started running...first time in my life!  When you have a marathon-er in your house, 3.1 miles doesn't seem like much so I tend to be harder on myself.  C'mon someone is running 26.2 miles my measly 3.1 seem like nuttin' honey.  Our goal was 11 minute mile and we did 10.5 minute mile...greatness!  It felt great..AND a free beer at the end never tasted sooo good!  Now we are going to bump it up to a 10k, then a half and then...well that's all folks.  Not a bone in this body has a desire to run any further than that...thank you very much!

Thank you sweet Lauren for doing this with me.  It's great fun, great girl time and let me tell you the after party that happens to fall on Cinco de Mayo is priceless.  Thanks for hosting.  Ole'!

Prima Ballerina!

My heart sang today! I took Annabelle to her first dance class. She loved it, she was so excited, and she looked super cute -as she always does! Girls got style. My cup runneth over!
