Our church puts on THE best Summer Camp you ever did see! Last year was our first year and this year I totally wanted to be a part of this goodness! GOD IS GREAT!! Star Station 3:16 racked in a whooping 250 kiddos, seriously?! It is amazing! I was the counselor to 18 AWESOME little rising first grade campers and they just rocked my face off!

Part of my heart will always be in Texas, y'all!
Starting off Summer with a grand ol' time in Texas! We had the best time! We went and went and went some more. We played, we saw family, we saw friends, we ate, we swam, we went to see the Rangers, we ate some more, we went to six flags, we ate some more, we saw more family, we saw more friends, we swam some more and between that we played and ate lots of Mexican food. Yum! We may or may not have eaten at Fuzzy's 3 times while we were there!
Thank you to Boo & Pops for the best time.
Thanks to our friends whom we got to hang out with...I love that we pick up right where we left off!
Thanks to mother nature who delayed our flight resulting in us arriving home at 2am...we have summer camp this week and no time to catch up resulting in nightmare-ish kids.
at the Flight Deck (a trampoline park)
Cannon Ball into the foam pit!
RANGERS!!
Six Flags!
Jaxson rode the NEW Texas Giant!
Annabelle has her very own Southern Sweet Shop.
JoeT's with Bestest Friends!
Eric, Iz and AB- new BF's
More Bestest Friends!
Yeehaw, y'all...our transportation for the week.. I joke, Texans don't really do that...we own trucks..duh!?
The Wheatie's...(and see they have trucks in Texas).
There you have it... a glimpse of part of my heart I leave in Texas! Until next time....

Dear Ol' Dad
Father's Day at our house is seeming more like fathers month. June is very eventful for us. Last weekend Corey golfed, this weekend a manly cook-out (no girls allowed), today lunch and hanging with the fam and next week we head to Texas!
No one deserves this more than Corey. For as much as he plays he works even harder! He not only is a great dad to our kids he is a great "father like" figure to nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He is such an awesome dad I am working on convincing him to have more kids!! Who's with me?!
To my dad, a dear ol' Dad indeed! Always there and willing to help. Always encouraging and loving beyond words. He's the best damn fun bus-er I'll ever have.. I boss him around and never has he quit, turned in keys or squawked. I'm one lucky girl!
And lastly but not in the least, Pops! Thank you for raising the man of my dreams!
All 3 of them adore my kids and I couldn't ask for anything more!
I love you guys!
Happy Father's Day!

Oh, she's totally a rookie!
Life of a kindergarten parents.. Goes something like this...
Literally walk to the bus stop before and after school with your child until at least the last month of school.. Then you wave from the driveway the last 4 weeks. Next year you buy them an alarm and a timer and they are responsible to get to and from by themselves.. Eh?!
Volunteer biweekly and be the best damn copier maker and pattern cutting fool you ever did meet.
Buy from every friggin' fundraiser that comes home... Even if its 3 weekly.. No joke!
Volunteer for class party... Twice. Get put at the messiest station..twice.
Do homework every night and sign off... Must. Sign. Off. Or you WILL receive the dreaded highlighted strike where your initials should have been. Don, don, doooon!
Both Corey and I take off work for the big awards show. Literally lasted 10 mins and we found out everyone gets an award by the end of the year. Oh geez.
Volunteer at the Spring festival where you will babysit kids and parents can have social hour.
Volunteer at field day where half day was freezing rain and the next half day was 93 degrees.. Holy hotness!!! What a difference a couple days make.. I thought only Texas had crazy weather..
For field trips parents are put in a lottery to chaperone because in Kindergarten parents still actually care and want to be with their kids...I won! I won!!! To the nature center I went...snakes, spiders and poison ivy! Oh My! Next year I hope to be picked for the theater as my neck hairs are still standing from that trip.
All this to say, I didn't mind a minute of it..(ok maybe the fundraisers..I don't want any more crap or any more ass dimples from the sugar!)
I love how excited Jaxson gets when I walk in the classroom and all his classmates whisper "Jaxson your mom is here" and he jumps up in excitement and runs to give me a hug.
I love how I get a glimpse into his classroom life and typical day.
He loves me being there and I love that. I am very grateful I have a job that allows me to do so!
I will cherish these times because soon enough I will be so uncool and so unwanted.. Tear!
All this to say I'm always just laughing at the "Rookie Mom" I have been this year.. Wouldn't trade it for the world. One year in the books- check!
Happy Summer!

The good life.
Hallelujah, we got bored this weekend! Bored, can you believe that? A week before payday and funds are running low. What's a bored family to do with no money?!
Family bike ride of course. Perfect night, trails that run by the water, the perfect temperature out and my favorite people by my side. Life is good!

Weekend happenings.
Summer Lovin' already.
Friday we started with a crab fest. I'm getting used to the whole Maryland crab eating and shelling. This week I actually did some crab legs all by myself! I have not graduated to the body yet...the yellow guts inside are still holding me back! Good friends and the girls dominating the spades game was a plus!
Saturday we went to a pancake breakfast for some friends adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia. I won 2 raffles there! A sports addition tutu for missy minks and more thirty one bags for this girl! Super exciting!
My winnings! Tutu will be in Cowboys..Duh?!
This is Max!
Princess pow wow!
Adult night!
The tooth!
2 of my favs!

Then I headed to work, one of my sweet students had a party with the Fun Bus. Many of my Fun Bus kids have parties but this one is special! This one is my buddy Max who is totally blind. What a treasure he is.. Needless to say I was honored to celebrate with such a special guy!
Then we headed out for adult night. Jefferson Dinner Dance where a neighbor friends band played. They were great and we had a great time.. Maybe too good..I'm too old for that! ;) The kids had their very first (paid) baby sitter. Katie was awesome! She took on 5, yes 5 kiddos like a champ! She even had them all asleep when we got home. She's hired!!
Sunday was family fun day! And Jaxson lost his first tooth! So exciting..his mouth is a mess these days so to spare some space in there is a great thing. The tooth fairy came with deep pockets because he was very close to having the dentist pull the silly thing for a nice chunk of change. She left $10 and fairy dust!!
Now pics...
