Photo Shoot.

A sweet friend of mine is starting out her own photography business.  She is awesome!  She has lots of good ideas and knows alot about photography.  These are some of my favorites- it is hard to choose she took over 200 pictures.  If you need a great inexpensive photographer let me know- I will get you her info!

Thanks Amanda- you rock!

God Bless America!

I'm Baaaack!  5 days early and I am proud to say I LOVE AMERICA!  A less than stellar trip landed me back in the U.S. a little early.  A lot of unorganization and a lot of drama can be blamed for it.  But I'm looking at the bright side.  I saw tons of beautiful sights, a very different culture and tried out alot of new food.  Most of you know I get along with nearly everyone- the personalities in this trip were about as night and day as you could get.  It was not the picture perfect trip I had in my head.  I will go back to Europe, probably not France, but next time it will be with family.  If I learned anything while away it was that I love my family and I love America!  I can safely say I will not travel with anyone but my family.  I got my own dose of what the Real World meant when they said ..."people stop being polite and start getting real"...
Let me show you some of my pictures...

Mommy is off to France...

I am leaving my kids, my husband, my family, my life for 12 whole days!  I am going to conquer the world...  when I get back I'm going to be refreshed and ready to start our new journey.  I'm going to be okay and my family is going to do great without me.  I am leaving count down sussies (treats) for my lil family...each day I am gone they will get to open one.  Day one I made a book about where mommy is going and what she is doing, as well as what they will be doing while I am gone..  Then I did 13 other bags of stuff...(don't worry Corey there is no red dye 40 or high frutose corn syrup that will have the kids hanging from the trees)...just stuff with small pieces that hopefully you don't step on in the middle of the night.  I have Daddy gifts too...like starbucks, drop in daycare passes and stuff of that nature.  So anyway...keep us in your prayers for safe travels and survival on the single parent duties!

Yup- that's me!  WHAT, WHAT, get it, get it, ShAkE, ShAkE, ShAkE!  I can not believe I DID IT!  I have to thank my hugely supportive family especially Corey that stepped up to the plate and helped me make it happen- he taught me to write papers...like 5-10 page papers.  I made the deans list and all A's and B's but mostly A's ...HOLY GUACAMOLE!  Are we even talking about the same girl here?

Robyn Coon Wheat - yes indeed!  Can you tell I suprised my self?  I am so stinkin' excited about this!  I just never thought I could do it...I never thought I was smart enough?  Who was I kidding?  Myself?...I am smart enough, I am good enough and damn it people like me...Baha!

Thanks to my parents who were also there every step of the way helping with kids and lending their space to make it happen!

and hell no- I'm not getting my masters!  So don't even go there...not now anyways.  For now I'm gonna have F-U-N!!!

PEACE.  LOVE. & FUN.  Chirp, Chirp baby!!!

Holy Cheese and Sprinkles!

My France trip is almost here...I am scared to death!  I texted a friend going with me "OMG..we are one week away.  I am scared I don't wanna go.  I am freaking out...talk me off this cliff"  you know what she answered back?  "I am on the cliff too."  Holy Cheese and Sprinkles!!!  Some one please talk me off this cliff!  I have NEVER left home for over 5 days and I am going for 2 weeks!  Actually only 12 days that I don't get to see my sweet smiling family.  But I can't be away from the kids that long...I am dreading it!  It is a chance of a lifetime-I get that!  and I don't care... Whats a girl to do...well I have no choice.  I have to go-if I want to officially graduate I have to complete my 2 classes - In France.

So repeat with me J'aime la France, J'aime la France, J'aime la France.

I made these for my classmates who are traveling with me...very simple.  Collected toilet paper rolls (thanks to everyone who contributed) put some goodies inside (candy, granola bars and gum) folded in the sides and slapped a bow and a frenchy word...Just like spirit sticks from cheerleading back in the day!

When I grow up...

There is one thing I knew I wanted to be when I grew up and that was a mom.  I played "house" until I was 13 years old...(Tiff-you can vouch for this one).  There was a point  at the my first slumber party and I realized it wasn't cool to play with dolls..you were suppose to prank call boys and listen to Boyz to Men- duh I knew that.

Wow- how could I have EVER know that the hardest job in the world would bring so much pleasure.  Every day I learn something new and how much my own mom went through to get me to where I am today.

to My Mom- Thanks for ALL you do for us!  You are the best.  Thanks for putting up with us...especially me.  You are such an incredibly strong women and I admire that so very much.

Happy Mother's Day to every mom out there!!!

I want to share a poem that was on Jaxson's school program cover pamphlet...almost made me cry- it is so true.  How could a little piece of paper with your child's finger prints on it be so incredibly special?  It's simple to see when you are a mom.

The Little Things
It is the little things that count And give a mother pleasure - The things her children bring to her Which they so richly treasure... The picture that is smudged a bit With tiny fingerprints, The colored rock, the lightning bugs, The sticky peppermints; The ragged, bright bouquet of flowers A child brings, roots and all - These things delight a mother's heart Although they seem quite small. A mother can see beauty In the very smallest thing For there's a little bit of heaven In a small child's offering. - Katherine Nelson Davis

Teachers Rock.

Teacher Appreiciation Week...quick throw something together!

Jaxson's teachers use stamps every day so he picked out a stamp for them today at Michael's...$1 Shew...That the budget can stand.  Whip that baby in a little cute box, add a little scrapbook paper, a bow and a corny note.  Wha-La!

Note reads:
Ms. B - You deserve a stamp of approval. Love, Jaxson
