Where have I been? 2 months have passed and not a single blog entry?? I've been BUSY...really BUSY! Busy with the bus and busy with life...oh and busy with Pinterest! The small amount of "me" time that I get- I spend with my face stuck to this ever loving computer looking at the oh so fabulous- PINTEREST! Holy Mac and Cheese if you have not got on this site you are missing out to say the least! It's pretty much the coolest thing since - well the iPhone...and of course there is a Pinning App for that. :)
Anyway...so the "FUN" has begun. We are learning the ends and outs- ups and downs of owning your own business. It's definitely the HARDEST thing I have ever done- but where's the FUN if something comes easy..right?
This is where my "who am I kidding?" title comes in...
If you have a blog you get this...a blog is a place to write and let it out...and brag! Blogging is hard and time consuming! Once upon a time I had time to do these things but lately I just have not been that interesting. Corey is a blogging champ (as you know)...he is well spoken and very witty. He's hard to follow up to...plus sometimes he steals my thunder with entries...so all this to say I am thinking I will just be a "guest blogger" on our family blog...("guest blogger" sounds so official..huh?) Don't get me wrong...I like to show off and brag about my kids and our projects occasionally so I will just do it there until...well probably forever. I already have some stuff to say...so catch me here...

In the stars...
It is so weird. Almost everyone of my friends is a Virgo. I don't keep that close of track of the stars but I always find it interesting that so many people that I am close to are indeed Virgos...must mean something!!
Capricorn and Virgo compatibility
Virgo's neat orderly mind meshes well with Capricorn's self-discipline and capacity for hard work. Both take pride in their home, enjoy having a few close friends rather than many acquaintances, and admire each other's intellectual abilities. The Capricorn's practicality suits the Virgo's accuracy perfectly. They are both - clever, conservative and patient. This relationship could suffer from lack of romance, as both tend to be a bit reserved in this area. Generally there is a good basis for a long union.
As we approach all these birthdays I wanted to show you this wreath that I made-
Yup! Found on Pinterest...(very easy and fun to make!)
Just know if we were close on your birthday I would hang this special wreath for you...
(note the #5 is for Jaxson's upcoming day...seriously? 5?)

School is cool!
I see all these pictures of friends and family today in Texas on the first day of school...Hope y'all have a fabulous school year!!! Today our school looks like this...
Today we will counting to 30 ...in our skeevies, eat a Texas sheet cake that we have left over, pee in Dora panties 5 times before we give up and put the "diapie" back on, mess up the living room, then clean the living room up, then mess it up again...
Sounds like a good day to me! My cup runneth over ...I love these kids to the moon and back!!!

Just Blah...but the sun is shining today!
It's been 2 weeks since I've blogged?! Rats! I haven't really had anything exciting to say or show. I have kinda just been blah lately. We are getting our bus in just a 10 days ...that can not be here soon enough!!! I am waiting tables at a restaurant close by and to be really honest ...it SUCKS! I work the opposite schedule as Corey and it is waiting tables...and waiting tables is a shitty job! I am making money though...and a good amount of it to help us get back on our feet. After a huge move and starting a business we have been wiped out! Financially, physically and emotionally! But in a few weeks we will have in our hands what we have been waiting SOOOOO long for ...a BIG GREEN FUN BUS!!!
I have kept this card as a close reminder to me lately...helps to remind me to keep it real! This is just a trial that is making me strong! I have lots of happiness, faith and determination in my life...so things are going to be just fine!

Update to last weeks post: Friends!
I am so rude! When I said I have not made any friends..I meant not any new friends. I failed to mention that I have some of the best friends a person could ask for...but these friends are my family. They HAVE to be my friends. We have Casey and Family and Michael and KeeKee and we have a blast together...I am just wondering how much more they can take of us...or us of them.
Jaxson is doing his due diligence in finding us friends too. On Saturday night we were listening to live music at a winery and "Jaxson The Courageous" walked right up to another family sitting near by who had a 6 year old daughter and just flat out asked her to be his friend and come play football with him. They played and played ...Her mom is actually from Texas, they love the Cowboys and their dogs name is Romo. Oh my - a match made in heaven!
On another note we ventured out to church yesterday. It felt so good to be there. We heard a good sermon and we met a nice couple who invited us to a play date...HOLA!
In the mean time we will continue to play with our built in friends...
He is just my type...
While waiting for our business to get started we have had alot of time on our hands. Corey is a sayer and a doer...and he's crafty too! Look what he made from an old dresser my parents let us have. Pretty cool!

Anybody out there, wanna have a cold beer?
Recently, My mom and I were chatting and over heard Jaxson playing with his cars singing "Am I the Only One" by Dierks Bentley...if you know this song you know it is hardly appropriate for him to be singing. Just shows what a sponge kids are! We just laughed because he knew every word and just like a kid cursing it's funny to hear...but bad, bad, bad! :) We had a talk and he told me "he already knows that he can only sing it at home or with Daddy". Ha!
Anyway...On the same lines of this song I saw this oh so cute book club party for The Help coming out on movie soon. I got sad-I am like..."is there anybody out there, wanna have a chick party with me?"...I miss my friends! It's hard to make friends when your old. I have made one friend, she is very sweet but she is very young (no kids, in school, stays out late, and wakes up late) but nevertheless she's a friend and someone to talk to. It beats me following people around the grocery store saying "wanna be my friend?"...is that pathetic- yup! But I'm okay with it.
I know friends will come with time... Until then- someone have this Help party...and serve this...

7 years of bliss!
Today Corey and I celebrated 7 years of marriage! Holy cow! Is that even possible? We have been together for 11 years- I can not believe it!
We were a match made in heaven! These are the reasons it works for us...
We are BFFE's! We like eachother and we like being together. We are a team and a good one at that. We are always on the same page. We communicate pretty well ...although you can never do too much communicating!! We make eachother laugh and we dance when no one is watching(wait...we dance in public too)!
Corey-
I love you today, tomorrow and everyday in between. Thanks for being you! You are an AWESOME husband and a GREAT dad. You are supportive and thoughtful...and always gives me the biggest cookie.
I have my own little tradition -on our anniversary I always put on my wedding dress and twirl around a bit...dork...yup! Thats me! and every year the zipper gets a little tighter...I always blame it on the nice dinner I had with my husband...nonetheless I get into the thing and I just love it! This year I got a shot of me reading 5 Love Languages ...we can never be too in the know on how to keep love real! I have heard good things about this book and will give you a review when I am done.

Fairies Dance Here...
This past weekend we went to visit my Uncle David and Aunt Sheryl...Sheryl is a dance teacher and her recent recital was all fairy based. Annabelle and I quickly became obsessed with fairies and built ourselves a fairy garden. It is my our new obsession and hobby! Look how stinkin' cute it turned out...
The fairy delivery.
Annabelle can not keep her hands off the oh so cute fairy tools...she arranges and rearranges the scene all day.
We got little bird houses at JoAnn's for a dollar...then we got potpurri and moss and hot glued it all on. We planted our mint and another flower Jaxson brought home from camp in the pot too.
Mimi bought us some fairy tools and a Tinkerbell fairy garden kit ...
We are in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with our fairy garden...it's the small things in life- literally!!!

How does your garden grow?
Our first attempt at gardening...we got Cucumbers, Jalepanos, Tomotoes and Mint. Never really had a green thumb ..but never really tried! So here goes nothin'...
Fun Forth.
Country Livin'
This is Paityn, No Marlee, No Paityn..one of KeeKee's brother Tony's identical twins. OMG my heart be still- two times over again!
Bring on the Boat Floats...on Carroll Canal!
"Love grows best in houses just like this!"
More crafting...we added the chain to our flags...
Finger lickin' good!
A Cake Massacre.
I had big hopes for a cake I found. It appeared to be pretty simple but- IT WASN'T! Halfway through I was screaming for Corey's architectural help! He came in- he helped- he ran to the store for more icing to "patch things up"...but by the time he returned the cake had flopped. Dang it!
Thank goodness for the extra cake I made we were able to do somewhat of a festive cake...just not the flag surprise I had imagined! I used Bri's secret recipe...and the cake tasted much better than it looked and that's all that seemed to matter in the end.

I got the "Winer" award this year...it's an honor-unlike how it might sound.

A-W-E-S-O-M-E, awesome- toe-totally!
One of my favorite friends- Brooke, gave me a book for graduation... it's called "The Book of Awesome" by Neil Pasricha. It's short writings about awesome-ness like the flip side of your pillow, or sneaking McDonald's and hiding the evidence, or using Rock- Paper- Scissors to settle everything, or seeing old people holding hands...this is a feel good book that makes you feel AWESOME and helps you to appreciate the small things.
My AWESOME mother in law- Boo - sent me the sequel yesterday in the mail...she must have heard me laughing out loud about some of the writings in this book...the author really does a good job of putting you in that AWESOME moment- he's funny. and unexpected mail presents? AWESOME!

Daddy's 6 Pack
Let me show you this super cute craft we pulled off for Father's day...we drank cream soda, kept the bottles, filled them with peanuts and M&M's, did some stamping and WaLa...I kept the kids busy for a minute and they were proud to present their gift to Daddy...and Poppy and Casey.
Happy Father's Day!
MERRYland
What a whirlwind of a couple months... graduation, traveling to France, a Fun Bus training in New Jersey and a cross country move. Shew! We are now settling into our new life here in Maryland. We are loving every minute! Like I mentioned before we live smack in the middle of both my brothers they are 5 minutes each way. We have had nothing short of a 3 ring circus all the time but let me tell you it's a fun time. We are back to being those "crazy Coon's" just now you can call us the "Whoon's" (Wheat + Coon= Whoon). We got a cute little house that I just love- it's open, with wood floors throughout, a ginormous basement (for all our s***+ a play room and craft space) and then we have a super duper backyard. We don't have neighbors on either side or behind us so we got a lot of room back there. We have wildlife (not sure how thrilled I am about this)...Annabelle searches out "EB" (Easter Bunny) each morning and you should see the fire flies at night! We actually have caught a few thanks to my Sam and KeeKee neither of them being the least bit afraid to catch a bug- totally unlike me!
All and all we are doing good...although I was a little disturbed that the grocery store I was at didn't have corn tortillas? I am going to get to the bottom of that for sure- no one warned me about that???
Annabelle yelling for "E.B."
Just chillin'
My girls...(Annabelle and I are adopting Charlee)
Sharing is caring.
The adventure in FUN!
We are signed and sealed -we have bought a franchise in the Fun Bus. Yup...that's right this girl is going to be driving a big ol' green bus around town ...and havin' fun doing it! Here's the low down...
We target kids ages 2-8 years old. We bring them on the bus for structured, and age appropriate FUN. The bus is completely refurbished and padded on the inside with all sorts of great entertainment- slides, swings, bball hoop, zip line, a punching bag, tons of mats, a donut, monkey bars, a tunnel etc. It's climate controlled..so when it's freezing out or raining there is no reason the kids can not expend that energy. We go to day cares, we do birthday parties and other events.
You can check it out here to get a real feel for it.
Myself along with Corey and my parents are in this adventure together. We should have bus number one by September and bus #2 shortly after that. We are very excited-This is right up our alley. For now though... we sit and wait while they refurbish our bus....
A fun quote I heard that I am going to live by...
"As you climb the ladder of success, don't let the boys look up your dress!" - Unknown Just love it!!

Platinum and Gold
You know the song- " Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold." Right now that song has been dear to me...but instead I like to think of my friends as platinum and gold...to me it means that much better of a friend than just silver- ya know?
I am the type of person that loves strongly and dearly so good byes are VERY hard! I have a very true family and very true friends that I just absolutelyy hate to say good bye to! Each of you mean the world to me and with this blog and our other blog and facebook and skyp I promise to keep in touch with each of you! Please know that anyone and everyone are more than welcome to come visit us and we will be home at the very least once a year and I promise to try to catch up with you all at that time. I know reality always kicks in and times are busy but I love you all and I will always cherish the relationship we have. I have the type of friends that whether a day or 2 years goes by when we get back together we are able to just pick up where we left off. So with that said- I love you all and will miss you all dearly!
Stay Cool, Sweet Friends!!
My Guilty Pleasure
Partly because we tried to minimize the groceries this week upon our move- this morning we were fresh out of breakfast food...but partly because I LOVE DONUTS! I couldn't pass up our last morning in Arlington and not stop at our beloved Shipley's one last time. My mom has been so gracious to lend me her car these past few days- I was out taking her to school. So there I sat in a LOOOOONG line to get donuts...if you could have heard the thoughts going through my head .. like "hey fat ass- why don't you go in instead of driving thru", or "don't they say it's better to just not eat breakfast than to eat a donut?"...but there I sat because Annabelle was with me and I didn't put shoes on her...oh and I really like donuts! I am pretty sure all of Arlington was there with me- although I didn't see one of you there? Anyway I got to the window and I saw that it was National Donut Day! and then we came home and enjoyed our guilt pleasure. Oh and we got a free glazed donut to top it all off...fantastic! and now I sit here typing this with a nice case of heart burn.

And their off!
"there goes my life, there goes my future"..that was the song running through my head this morning as Corey and a brave friend- Shawn drove off in the biggest Uhaul there was and 2 stuffed cars. My poor Dad and Corey worked their butts off (and even still I think that's and understatement) yesterday. The two of them moved all 8 million pieces- OH MY GOSH! Where the hell did all that come from? Hope we love Maryland because Corey says we are NEVER moving again!
They drove all day- tonight they are staying in Memphis and tomorrow they will stop where ever they are when the Mavs game begins...Then they should be in Maryland my Friday afternoon. That's a hell of alot of driving! Thank you guys!!!
